Frequently asked questions

What is trado.world?

trado.world is a verified B2B trade platform. It connects verified exporters and importers for trade in and out of India, plus domestic India-to-India trade, and runs the whole journey on one platform, from first request to protected payment.

How do I join?

Join the early-access list now. When we open, you complete a one-time verification of your business, and once approved you can list, request, quote, and trade.

What does it cost?

Joining, verification, listing, and negotiating are free. A single commission applies only when a trade completes, with no listing fees and no subscription.

How do I get verified?

You submit your business registration, tax and trade credentials, and a bank account in your business name. The details are checked against authoritative sources, not self-declared.

How long does verification take?

The target turnaround is typically 24 to 48 hours per submission. You are told clearly when it is under review and when it is complete.

How long does the Verified badge last?

Three years, with reminders before it expires so you can renew without interrupting your trading.

When can I see who I am trading with?

Identities are masked while you quote and negotiate. The legal name is shared at the proforma invoice stage, and contact details only after a deal is confirmed.

Why are identities masked?

So nobody can be found and pulled off-platform before a deal is real. It protects both sides and is enforced at the core of the platform, not just hidden on screen.

Where does my payment sit before delivery?

In a bank-secured account held by a licensed payment partner, never with the seller and never with trado.world. It releases only when the deal’s conditions are met.

When is payment released?

Only after delivery is confirmed and the four checkpoints clear, meaning documents, shipment, the dispute window, and compliance, followed by an administrator authorisation.

What if the goods are wrong or do not arrive?

You have an inspection window after delivery to raise a dispute with evidence. While a dispute is open, the payment is frozen until it is resolved through mediation. The window is 72 hours for international trade and 48 hours for domestic.

Which countries can I trade with?

We launch with seven corridors, namely the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the USA, the UK, Germany, Malaysia, and Australia, plus domestic India. A verified buyer in another country can be onboarded on demand when they raise a request.

Do you support domestic India-to-India trade?

Yes. Domestic B2B runs on the same verified, payment-protected rails, with GST invoicing, e-Way Bills, and challan-signed delivery, and no import-export licence is required.

I do not have an export licence. Can I still export?

Yes. With assisted export, trado.world acts as the exporter of record under its own licensed credentials and runs the trade on your behalf, while your identity stays private.
