Refund & Dispute Policy

How disputes and refunds will work on trado.world once trading opens. An overview ahead of launch.

Draft placeholder. This is a plain-language overview of how disputes and refunds are designed to work. The binding policy will be finalised with legal counsel before the platform opens.

trado.world is built so that a buyer’s payment is protected until a trade is genuinely complete. This overview explains how disputes and refunds are intended to work once trading opens.

1. Payment protection

A buyer’s payment is held in a bank-secured account by a licensed partner, never with the seller, and never with us. It releases only when the trade’s conditions are met.

2. Raising a dispute

After delivery, a buyer has an inspection window to raise a dispute with supporting evidence, for example short delivery, damage, or goods not matching the agreed specification. The window is intended to be 72 hours for international trade and 48 hours for domestic trade.

3. What happens during a dispute

Opening a dispute freezes the payment. Nothing is released while the matter is open. Both sides may be asked to provide evidence, and the case is resolved through mediation.

4. Outcomes

A dispute may resolve in the seller’s favour (the trade proceeds and payment is released), as a partial settlement agreed between the parties, or in the buyer’s favour (a refund to the buyer’s original payment source).

5. Refunds

Where a refund is due, for example a buyer-favoured outcome or a trade cancelled before shipment, it is returned to the buyer’s original payment source within a reasonable period after the outcome is confirmed.

6. Contact

For any question about disputes or refunds, contact us at contact@trado.world. The full, binding policy and timelines will be published at launch.
